OMG honey I am so sorry. I just had a GB attack the other night and they are the WORSE!!!!!!!!!! When I started a Facebook Status about it I was SHOCKED at how many fellow OH members had also went through this same ordeal. Its such a sharp intense pain and I dont ever want to feel it again..............if I do................they better TAKE IT OUT!!! I dont want to live with that ongoing pain. I hope you never have another attack. My Doc said attacks can last anywhere from 15 min to 15 hours............OH HELL NO!!! I would be dead! ;o)~

Wow Nikki,  So sorry about your ER situation.  Being in the ER sucks, especially due to so many people using it like a doctors office these day.  I was miserable last week, during the 7 hours it took me to get through the ER and finally get admitted.  I now feel blessed to have had my husband sitting next to me.  It sounds like you are a strong women who does not give yourself enough credit.  HUGS!  Pam

Thanks Pam I got lucky I was I went right through triage and into an ER bed.  I got to this small hospital that not that many people use but for smaller emergencies it's perfect and they take care of you quick.

Even better getting drugs quick :)

I have my moments  - I have always been super independent but sometimes you just want a shoulder to lean on.

Thanks (((HUGS)))

That stinks! I'm so sorry to hear that Nikki. I bet you were scared.  I had my gall bladder out in 2005 and I had 2 attacks before they took it out. With the first one, I thought I was having a heart attack or something. It was horrific. With the second I was more aware of what it was but I remember my boyfriend (at the time - I have a new man now ) later doing an impression of me in the "throws" of my attack and he was rolling all over the floor and wailing. It was funny when he did the impression but looking back, that's sad! It was TERRIBLE. Such a huge pain for such a little thing (your GB).

Take it easy. Hope you are feeling better soon. Just remember, laproscopic gall bladder removal is not nearly as bad as it would have been before you lost all this weight! In and out.

xoxo

Laura I felt the same way my first time and of course in the ER they treated me as if I was having a heart attack.  This time after I recalled what happened before I knew what was going on.  I kind of do hope they take it.  I was literally friggin doing lamaze for the pain hahaha  I was sweating and trying to breath and blasted the air on me I was like omg can i drive home.

That pain is literally sick!!!  I hope it doesnt happen again and they just decide for it to go.  Damn thing!  I feel better today...just tired.  about to hit up some tylenol pm and call it a night.

Hope to see you soon

Nikki

Feel better. The lamaze thing was so true for me too - hah. I tried putting my arms in the air, deep breathing...nada. Well, stay on it. Hopefully that's the last one. At least for a looooong time. Hope to see you soon also.

I'm so sorry you are going through this. :(  If I lived closer to you, I'd be there in a heartbeat! It had to be tough to be in the hospital by yourself. I know that whenever I have gone to the hospital, I wished my mom could be there but she's 3 hours away. No matter how old we get, we always need our moms!  I hope they get you fixed up soon and that it's nothing too serious.  *hugs*
