3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!
Hey T!
Yes! I am home and was lucky enough to get to see a good bit of Rome since we finished up our work early.
Today, I'm grateful....
1. For being home with my furbabies - I miss them so much when I'm gone. I saw one boxer in Rome but did not get to interact with it, unfortunately!
2. For heating pads, narcotics, and muscle relaxers. My back finally had enough by the time I got home Saturday afternoon. It feels much better today after spending the weekend in bed with all three of the things I listed!!
3. Being able to work from home when need be.
4. That our customer is finally allowing us to charge travel time...which they should since we travel in order to do a job for them...thus I earned 16 hours on Sunday and will be taking both Wednesday and Friday off...WOOT!
Good to be back on the board, missed you all!
Heather
Good afternoon everyone!
I had a rough weekend - got notice my disability had been denied on Saturday and had to wait until today to call. Turns out my paperwork was due by 3pm on Friday and they got it at 3:15. Luckily they are reviewing it now, and I can relax for the rest of the week. Hopefully my paycheck won't be hurt by this. Darn insurance companies. My sister has some mental issues and has gone on a downward spiral since her daughter was married last month, and she's not doing well, so we are having a rough time with her, as well, so all and all I'm glad this weekend is actually over.
Today I'm greatful for:
1. I can spend this week finishing up my recouperation without worrying about going back to work. I'm not ready to go back yet - I am still so tired in the afternoon, and I know I can't deal with the commute this week.
2. We'll be spending a quiet Thanksgiving here at home just the two of us without family drama. I told my family ahead of time, when I found out my surgery date, that we weren't doing "family" holidays this year. I just don't think I could deal with it.
3. My clothes are getting loser. yay.

Glad you got the paperwork "somewhat" straightened out. What a pain!!!
Family - can't live with 'em, can't live with 'em. I've had those stress-filled holidays before, and they are NOT fun!!! Here's to just a quiet Turkey Day with you, Bob and Sadie!
Your clothes will soon be falling off of you!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!
Hugs,
T
