1 month (3.5 week) checkup

going to see DVR after work today...so far I lost 10 lbs the first week post-surgery but NOTHING since then, which is kinda annoying. I still have numbness in my legs but it's less than it was immediately post-surgery. This should be interesting.

That's AWESOME!!!!  Don't be too annoyed yet - your body has undergone major trauma and needs time to heal and play catch up.  The weight WILL come off!!!

so I officially love Dr Von Rueden's scale. Each time I've gone it's been lower than my scale at home. This time it was SIX AND A HALF pounds lower than my scale here! So instead of 310 (where I thought I was) I'm actually at 303.5! So that's good :) He said my legs will get better over time, the nerves probabily got irritated by the swelling after surgery. Also my blood pressure is now normal for a normal person, not an overweight person. So that's good :)
