Food Love
I'm starting to eat regular meals now... well at least some of the time...
for example today:
commute: nothing (often I have a hot protein drink)
breakfast 1/2 cup greek yogurt mixed with a scoop of vanilla protein powder with 1/2 banana and 2 tbsp of chopped pecans... drizzled with sf caramel syrup
lunch: seafod salad (imitation crab with old bay and light mayo)
snack: cheese cubes and/or turkey jerky
dinner: sea scallops, shelled edamame, squash (about 1/4 cup of each)

what are you eating? I Know that I actually do plan the day out to make sure I'm getting enough and at the end of the day if I'm under 70g of protein I add either some food or a protein drink...
I've learned to add protein to hot drinks, or half a serving of Nectar fruit flavor to a glass of water... that ups both my calories and my protein...
my weight loss sadly is rather minimal.... although this week seems to be a good weight loss week...
it's so counterintuitive to us to eat more to lose but I think we have to do it.
there are several reasons my meals are so 'fleshed out'.
1. seems fish and shellfish are the only things Oscar (the pouch) really loves.... beef is accepted while chicken (my former fav) is merely tolerated.
2. after spending nearly 3 years eating South Beach Diet Style, I've developed many food items that a. we love and b. we learned to make.... South Beach Diet style foods are very similar in the long run to what we eat after WLS....
