im watching big medicine now!

im watching big medicine tonight. ive seen it before, and i want to keep watching the show in the future...

watched it too.  How sad that we could not get an update on Allen...

As a pre-op, I felt kind of scared after having watched it. I'm still on track and I know this is a good decision, but I get kind of spooked sometimes. Mainly when I see the surgery (yikes) and when I see terrible transfer addictions like that girl Jennifer. That was incredible - crack cocaine?!

Having lived through this surgery, do you watch things like that and think "I can't believe that was me and I did this?" 

I do have to say I'm glad they aren't glorifying it in every instance - it's a world of hard work and mental strength to boot!

Darn! I missed it!

Yep, that whole transfer of addictions is a little scary for me. I have a neighbor who had the surgery about two years ago and did great but recently overdosed (luckily survived) but I believe thats what has happened to him. So sad. I'm a pretty strong person for the most part but take away my food and I'm not sure what will happen. Im hoping if I pick up something else it will be exercise or shopping!
