3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY!
What a great day it's been so far!
1. Top of the list, and wow- okay, I usually listen to XM Radio Channel 23 in my car - the station with the love songs - well, somehow it became the Holly channel with the Christmas songs, which I'm not ready to hear yet. So I changed my station and was really not hearing anything familiar on the 80's on 8 channel for the past couple of days......until this morning. OMG, I completely forgot about this song that was my favorite back in high school......"Never Say Goodbye" by Bon Jovi. I almost snatched the steering wheel to the right, pushing that Volume Increase button. OMG that was such a great song!!!!!
2. It's hump day - thank god! I was late to work this morning, but gonna make up for it or use some leave time. I'm just so glad we are at the halfway point!
3. Being able to live vicariously through friends. One is out in Rome, two had cheesecake last night, yummo!
4. Ravens got rid of Hauschka!!!!!!
Hopefully in January they'll switch it back to the Love Songs station.
In the meantime, depending on what decade you prefer - 8 is for the 80's, 9 is for the 90s.
the other thing I like (and sometimes dislike) about XM radio is those comedy stations - I like them when Jerry's laughing his butt off, but when he's gasping for air, snorting, guffawing, and begging me to pull over so he can catch his breath - that's when I don't like the stations, but they are hilarious.
Hee hee - thanks! I was quite happy with my first week follow up.
Here's mine -
1. It's another beautiful morning...and I had another beautiful walk today. That's 4 days in a row now. Yay!
2. My friends (as usual) - my bestie is coming to visit me this morning with her little guy. I'm so excited! I can't wait to see them!
3. I can drive again! Thank goodness. STIR CRAZY. I'm heading to the market this afternoon to pick up Bob's Thanksgiving noms...he wants a cornish hen for T-giving this year (I'm going to have some chicken salad, I think).
4. My tummy is agreeing with everything I've put down there and I found out the source of my intestinal problems. It was not (as I previously thought) milk...it was those danged SF popsicles. Stupid maltitol. Teach me for not reading boxes. I made my favorite "pre-surgery" protien shake today and it tasted much better than those RTD ones. Thank goodness!

Sounds like everything is going swimmingly so far!!!! WOOOOOO!!! I'll tell you, I walked so much for the 8 weeks I was at home, of course, dragging Mom with me - SHE lost 11 pounds!!!!
UGH!!! Yeah, try to get the popsicles that have Splenda. Some people are still sensitive to any artificial sweeteners, but Splenda seems to be safe for most!
Jumping up and down that everything seems to be problem free for you!!!!
Hugs,
T
LOL - I bought this box because it said it was sweetened with splenda...it just didn't say it was ALSO sweetened with MALTITOL...OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW.
The NUT suggested I make my own popsicles with crystal light, which is definitely a thought.
Things are going well. Nothing has gotten stuck and nothing has thrown anything into reverse. And OMG, why didn't I eat more refried beans BEFORE surgery? I hated them then...now they are sooooo freaking good!
