Um....crackers?  Really?  Hmmmm......................I don't know about you, but had I done crackers that early, it might've opened up the evil carb door a bit too early for me.

I was worried about that too, but it didn't seem to bother me.  I wait until the END of my meal to eat my "starches."  And I never thought a saltine could taste so good...LOL.  I don't intend on eating too many of them though, since I have a bunch of sweet potatos in the fridge already for mashing.  They have fewer carbies.  I was more worried about it getting stuck, honestly - seems to me crackers are gummy once you chew them, but I took itty bitty teeny tiny bites.

Unfortunately, you'll find (hopefully MUCH later), that crackers and such evil carbs crunch down to nothing and become evil slider foods. 

Ooooh, I love some mashed sweet potatoes - with some butter flavored spray, cinnamon and Splenda!!!!  OOOOOOOO!!!  And they're full of fiber to boot!

Good job! And I used to dip my crackers in tea or coffee to soften them a bit before eating them.

LOL...I must have been channeling you when I ate it!  I soaked it in some tea, took tiny bites, and held it in my mouth forever!  LOL

YAY Bernice, sounds like you're doing great.  Isn't it wonderful when you can start adding food back into your diet?  LOL  The little pleasures in life we take for granted.  Good luck on reaching your goal....I know you'll get there.
