Thank you everyone for the kind words and encouragement. The attention is definitely something I will have to get used to, so I will just trying being gracious and answering what I'm comfortable answering.

I also was pretty open with folks. But I agree, I would not want to tell everyone the number. I was not too proud of that. Only tell as much as you are comfortable in discussing. If you don't want to be specific, there are ways to answer that are still conversational, yet protective of your feelings. They will get the hint. For example, if someone asks how much you used to weigh at your heaviest, you can say something like, "More than I was happy with" or "More than I was comfortable with", or whatever wording feels natural for you.

Congratulations on your continued success!

I agree with Bernice honey. Just go about it very diligently because those are way too personal. I am shocked co workers would be so up in your business. I know that has to be hard. But I am sure they are in awe of your weight loss. You should be so PROUD of yourself. ;o)

Ok,

As a guy,,, I don't care what folks think, I am ashamed i let myself get above the 300lb mark, BUT I will never be there again, so I will proudly discuss WLS with anyone who asks. It is a tool, (a very effective tool) for losing weight, so I will share my experience with those interested.
