Today I'm out  8 weeks out from surgery.

I'm still in 2x pants but about a size 20  (down from 24) in sized pants
tops have gone from 3x to 1x ( I"m mostly belly)
folks are starting to comment that I look thinner...

I've lost just over 25 pounds in 8 weeks...  I wi**** was more but as a lightweight it's about right.  If I want to lose 100 pounds I'm right on track to do that!

now for what I'm eating..

protein drink in the car in the morning

breakfast:  cottage cheese about 3 oz
lunch:   varies but high protein and some veggies
snack:  turkey jerky and/or cheese
dinner:  protein veggie and starch  (a bit of each)

my protein is between 60 and 80 per day  (about 70 most days)
fluids are at least 64 oz
getting all my supplements and vitamins

today the gym bag is packed and I have yoga after work...

I wish i was losing faster but I'll take what I can get....

Nessa,

CONGRATULATIONS!  Twenty-five pounds is a lot of weight.  If you were on a program such as WW, you wouldn't be near 25 pounds at this stage of the game, so I think you're doing wonderful.  Again, congratulations for your hard work and determination to get to your goal.

Debbie

Ya know Debbie I have to look at it that way !  I'm losing an average of over 3 pounds per week at this point... that's a good loss!
