Posting question about Physical Therapy

Deb can not post from work but her physical therapist wants to try a procedure and wants

to know if its ok for RYN patients

Has anyone who has had RNY ever had Mechanical Pelvic Traction post OP? This requires belts both around the abdomen as well as the pelvic area and then they pull the two away from each other.

There shouldn't be a problem especially since she is not early out. But that is something she should be asking her surgeon just to make sure.

Tell Deb I said hello!!!

Deb's first thought was to call DVR, but his office is closed today and PT is scheduled to start on Monday.

DVR is good about returning calls.  She can call the number that is left on his answering machine. Tell her to call him.

I suggested she call Kathy Carr-  she works with DVR a bit - and shes had RNY herself:

I thought she might have come across this situation before
