Has anyone on OH had DR. EMANUELE LO MENZO MD PHD.... for their WLS?

Nope sorry I have never heard of him. When I started looking I wanted to make sure I went with a surgeon that was with a Bariatric Center of Excellence, and yet was still in a convient area for me. That is how I choose my surgeon and I adore him!!

Yes to be certified as a Bariatric center of excellence, they have certain standards they have to meet. I would def suggest looking for a surgeon that is certified :)

I went to Dr. Cynthia Long http://www.longsurgical.com/. She is great. She practices at Shady Grove Hospital (which is a Bariatric Center for Excellence) and Holy Cross Hospital. Her office is in Silver Spring, MD, which isn't too far from Hyattsville (maybe 20 - 30 minutes).  I had my surgery at Shady Grove because I wanted to go to where the Center of Excellence was, but I'm not sure it really would matter. Dr. Long is great and I'm sure gives the same great care wherever the surgery is done.
