Well, once my parents both retired, that became THEIR job!!!

That project is AWESOME!!!  How wonderful of you to give back to the hospital that gave you such a truly blessed gift.

We bake cookies for the local fire and police departments - it's important for the kids to give back, too.

Hugs,

Tia

I couldn't agree more, right now Reed just goes with us to deliver, but as soon as he can tie knots he will be making his on.

I LOVE those knotted blankets.  Maybe after the holidays, you could teach me?  We could barter - I'm an awesome cook!  LOL!

I really get tired of hearing people whine about how sad their life is, what they don't have, blah, blah - one trip through a PICU or a NICU to see those little ones and their families fighting so hard would put things in perspective, don't you think?

I would be glad to teach you.  They are very easy.  That sounds like a barter I could live with.

I agree.  Anytime things seem bad, I just step back and think about how bad it really could have been.

thank heavens for:

1. Online shopping. All Christmas gifts are being bought online, with coupons and free shippings.

2. Lunch today. Something to look forward to on this dreary day.

3. Got our visas to India yesterday and officially renounced my citizenship for there. Now, I am a hunnred percent American.

Hey Sylvie!!!

Congrats on your final citizenship here!!  When is your trip?  Both you and hubby going?

I've done SOME online shopping, but I've got it down to such a science - go obscenely EARLY when no one else is there, that I actually don't mind!!

Have a great day!

Tia

We're both going, Dec 29 to Jan 15. Our anniversary, Dec. 30, will be spent somewhere in the air, since we depart LA on december 29th and land in India on December 31st.

LOL the trip is 14 days, the flight's only 16 hours :-P

It's no use flying that far for less than 2 weeks. We would have done 3 but we're going to do Christmas with the in-laws. since I had my accident and missed the family gathering in July.
