3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!!!

Good morning!!!  OMG!!  The weather was GORGEOUS yesterday!!!!  Although I DO want some cold weather!!!!  Bring it!!!!  I had a fabu weekend, jam-packed with lots of stuff!!

Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  YAY!!  I got to see George this a.m. - for a whole 30 minutes!!!  LOL!!!  (Insert STOOPID grin).  I am hopelessly smitten!!

2.  Got to spend some time with some awesome friends this weekend!!!  What a blast!!  I've decided, since I really don't want to organize huge gatherings anymore, that smaller and more intimate is the way to go.  Seems to be working thus far!!

3.  That Happy the Mouser is on the job!  She caught and killed one in the basement on Saturday.  Fortunately, I was NOT home.  Dad said she dropped when he told her to.  Needless to say, when I made Italian hamburgers yesterday, Happy got her very own!!!  Good puppy!

4.  Mom - She went to Williamsburg yesterday and had a good time.  She also brought me back a beautiful crocheted tea cup Christmas ornament.  She ALWAYS thinks of me when she goes places!  Love her!

5.  That I managed to put together a crab soup yesterday that was almost as good as Mom's.  Using canned soup, no less!!!  Sometimes, I'm amazed at my creativity!

6.  That I have a short week.  We're off on Wednesday.  AND....I MIGHT get to see George for an actual date!!

7.  That tomorrow, Bernice becomes a loser!!  I'm so excited for her, and even moreso after I got to meet her and see what an awesome woman she is!!

I could go on and on, it seems!!  Life is good and I'm a happy girl right now!!

Have a great day!

Hugs,

Tia

Morning Tia and everyone else!

1.  For a ba-you-tee-full weekend!  Though the Ravens lost - it still was a good weekend.
2.  I'm totally smitten - and am hoping it doesn't turn into a no-go for me.  Hubby and I had been considering buying a home, and I went to look at one that I had my eye on, this past Saturday.  Naturally, my roommates were nosy and decided they'd like to come see it too, the daughter started claiming certain rooms, such as the master bedroom and the master bathroom.  Ache!  Eee!  Double Hockey Sticks!  No!
3.  My group project on Maritime Piracy is finished ahead of time.
4.  Though I was busy this weekend, a few emails kept me giggling breaking the stress I was starting to feel.  Thanks buds!  You know who you are!
5.  It's a 3 day week for me.  I'm off Wednesday and Thursday.

Have an awesome day!

Hey sweets!!!!

Ooooooh, a new house!!!  Where?  Close to me?    Um, yeah - tell the roomie daughter that the master bedroom has been moved outside.

I'm glad you get a break this week, you need it!!  We missed you on Saturday, but we'll do it again!!!

1. My family and friends.

2. The blessings that are bestowed upon me so abundently.

3. The scale is still moving and inches are still leaving my waistline although I am 1 year and 1 month out.

It was a lovely weekend!  The perfect way to spend the weekend before surgery!

Tia - a real date with George!  Hubba hubba!  Don't do anything I wouldn't do...of course, now that you've met me, you know that pretty much leaves everything wide open...LOL

Here are mine!

1.  Surgery tomorrow! OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG...I'm excited, and nervous, and excited, and I'm so worried I'm going to forget to pack something (I'm not just packing for the hospital, but for recovery at my Mom's).  I'm going to get my stuff together later this afternoon.  I know I won't sleep tonight...LOL

2.  My friends...It was so refreshing to spend some time with close friends this weekend.  I really enjoyed meeting you lovely ladies Saturday afternoon, and I've raved about the tea room to my mom and girlfriends...we are so making a trip.  I can't wait until my mother-in-law can visit us again on the east coast so I can spoil her at the team room!  And movie night was wonderful!  It's going to become a monthly standing date with our friends!

3.  My dog is finally starting to gain some benefit from her arthritis treatments.  We had our first "whine-free" night last night.  And her balance is much better.  I also think she knows her gramma is coming to sit with her tomorrow.  She's got big time wiggly tail!

4.  Library - oh yeah...I'm heading to the library later to stock up on some post surgical smut and true crime.

5.  Jello.  At least I feel like I'm chewing something today.  I know that they said I could eat normally today, but I feel better going into surgery with nothing in the belly that could haunt me later.

I'm so excited!!!

I know, a real date!!!  Woo-hoo!!!!  Ummm....thanks for the advice?  LOL!!!!  Don't worry, we're taking our time with this!  I think.

I already gave you your own special post about tomorrow!!  It's gonna be great!!!!

I'm so glad you loved the tea room as much as I.  It's one of my fave places - I just feel all melty when I leave there!!  Reservations ARE recommended, so when you know your MIL is coming, give Erin and Janet a call.

I'm so glad Sadie is better.  She's going to your Mom's with you, right?

I stocked up on the smut, too!!  Actually, though, a really good read is "Eating Well Before & After Weight Loss Surgery," by Susan Maria Leach.  I highly recommend it.  She's the founder of Bariatric Eating.

We'll talk tonight, g/f!!

Hugs,
Tia

Thanks for the book tip - they had it at the library, so I picked it up and I've started on it already!
