Getting down the protein powder
So many of us at least in the begininng are required to have at least ONE meal that is a protein shake.
Now I am learning to make stuff that is more palatable than not...
my current fav:
4 oz light cranberry juice (with splenda)
8 oz water
cup of ice
scoop of Nectar fuzzy navel protein powder
place in a sports bottle and shake shake shake.
easy to drink... the cranberry really adds some zing to it...
I'm kinda weird...have you guessed yet?

I am one of those people that doesn't do well with protein powders. I still buy mostly ready-made protein shakes for this reason. However, I have gotten into using French Vanilla powder as a cream replacement in coffee. I hate to throw that out there though... since we're really no supposed to be drinking coffee and I drink WAY too much of it. I started to get an ulcer a couple months ago and my doctor said it was likely due to coffee drinking and I had to take that god-awful carafate. But of course, I'm still drinking coffee. In any event.. I get at least 20 grams of protein in a day via this method.
