Okay my RNY surgery is scheduled this month and I want to know if you had a survival kit when you first came home what would've been in it? I just want to make sure I can prepare for much as possible.
a recliner for resting and sleeping
booties for your feet
small cups for sipping. (find a cup you love and make it a fav
cordless phone so you don't have to get up (include cell phone and remote for tv)
chapstick
loose easy to remove clothing (so when the urge to potty hits you can go fast)
Nessa
Ticker is from Day of Surgery.. weight goal is personal preference as I've MET my doctor's goal

my surgeon's nurse also recommended getting up and down out of bed while hugging a pillow. it was a great suggestion. i hugged one all the way home in the car. it really does work as a shock absorber!
