3 THINGS FOR HUMP DAY
Woo-hoo!!!! Halfway there!!!!!!! Yes, cue the Bon Jovi!!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Early morning phone calls. Yes, Darla, I DO mean you, but George, too!!!! LOL!!! You both called to warn me about traffic!!!! How sweet to be loved!!
2. K's award ceremony for her art poster is tonight. Second place in Baltimore County!!! I'm so proud of her I could just burst!!
3. NSA ice cream - I took KB out for ice cream last night to Bruster's. Coffee caramel swirl!!!! YUM!!
Have a great day!!!
Tia
P.S. Bernice - T-6 days and counting!!!!!!
1. coffee and Zomig, in that order. I love my migraine meds.
2. cheerleading is almost over until next fall...halleluia, praise the Lord.
3. I have a CT scan today that might finally put an end to something that has been plagueing me since my last surgery (cross your fingers).
4. My work has recently picked up due to the cold and flu season. I hate that people are getting sick and being admitted, but im thankful to be able to work. I wish I could be doing admissions for more pleasant cir****tances like elective surgeries or births, but sadly it's a lot of elderly getting sick.
Ok im off to get some work done before I have to leave for my appointment.
BTW, after you called, George called, and while we were talking, he heard a loud crack - his rear window had shattered - WHILE he was driving!!!! fortunately, he was driving his toy car, so he turned around and got the other car. I'm just so glad he wasn't on the Beltway going really fast - that could've been ugly!
Yay 6 Days To Go! I'm so excited!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. I'm no longer sitting on a city bus on I-95. Two hours was quite long enough this morning.
2. I got through my biggest report at work before going out for leave. Yay. I got it done three days early. Yay.
3. A successful pre-op appointment with my doctor. No restrictive diets for the next wee****il the day before when I ELECTED to do clear liquids (I wasn't required to). No clean out process - whoooooo hoooooo!!!
4. My husband, family and friends - everyone has been so supportive of this whole process.
