Another Insurance question

i think my goal is to work on every floor.. i've gone from 17 to 16 to 2 to 12 to 13.  ha ha

I was out of the office for three weeks. however, the third week was a work from home.  etta brought me my laptop and i did rcsa testing.  fun stuff.  everyone is different and you'll likely be approved for four weeks.  take whatever time you feel you need!  oh and remind them this is not elective surgery.  this is surgery deemed necessary by both a physician and your insurance company.  i heard someone in your area refer to it as elective.  i corrected her!

LOL...I can't believe anyone would think that having your insides rearranged to save your life would be elective.

I'm not sure how much time they'll give me, but I can work from home if need be.  Since I'm BRC I have super access to the system.  I don't spring back as quickly as I used to!

take as much or as little as you want based on what you're approved for.. your doctor's office will support you in your needs.  :)

hi sarah,

i have blue cross blue choice, and my approval was less than a week with the requirements of 6 month's weight history, bmi over 40 (i had sleep apnea and leg edema)

i believe the mandate is that any company with a total of 50 or more employees must carry the coverage.

there are many great doc's to chose from, so just use the one your most comfortable with

good luck!

thanks for the info. My company only has 30 employees, so now I am worried they won't buy the coverage...

50+ was the old law.  i'm trying to find the language of the new mandate.  when i do, i will post.
