Swing chickens

Swing chickens, pray, rub Buddah's belly, do a dance, whatever.......... just wish me luck!

I do believe I have finally gotten thru all the hoops required for the doctor's office to submit me for insurance approval.

Now getting them to actually do it timely is the trick..... that's where all your help comes in. lol.

Last night I did my 6th nutrition/diet class. I have emailed them my PCP's letter suggesting bariatric surgery.... what else??   I've had my consult, met with the dietician and had the psych eval.  I "should" be good to go.

I'll feel so much better when I have confirmation they have actually submitted.

Baby, you KNOW your circle's in your corner!!!  Everyone is so flipping excited for you!!!!!!

You know the drill - stay on top of them and document everything they say and to whom you spoke!!!!

I'm going to TRY to do my follow up stuff via email for a paper chain. We'll see.  I'll call on Friday if I don't hear back by then.

TY for all my close friends who have helped keep me (somewhat) on track during these past 6 months.  I'd have just hidden by myself if it werent' for ya'll.

I just really hope it can go smoothly from here.  I'm unfortunately not expecting that tho. lol

Can you check with the Dr. office to make sure all the Ts are crossed and all the I's are dotted?

and then we WAIT... and i do believe that the worst part is the WAITING.

The office staff is known to be a PITA at Dr. S's office, that's the worst of it.  If he didn't have such an excellent reputation as a bariatric surgeon, I would not put up with his office.

Hey didja know that if you type "ANG" too fast it often comes out NAG?  hee hee.  that's SOOOOO me.  His office better watch out. :O)
