Tia's House of Nuts
Thought you all might get a kick out of this. B's had a loose tooth for some time now, and he's been REALLY afraid to pull it out - he's deathly afraid of blood - not in general, just his own.
So tonight, I stop over to stay with them while my brother went to a funeral and I find KB in the kitchen, digging through their Halloween candy stash. They're furiously looking and pulling stuff out of the bag, and I said, "What are you guys looking for?" "Tootsie Rolls or Starburst," they tell me. Okay.
So I go throw a load of clothes in the dryer and come back to find WHY they wanted those specific candies. K, in her infinite wisdom, told B how she used to pull loose teeth out by jamming a Tootsie Roll or Starburst up against the offending tooth, biting down, and then pulling the candy - and thus, the loose tooth away.
Guess what? It worked.
What a boatload of goofs!! But I love 'em!

Well, that is the exact reason I had to stop eating hard chewy candy like the two you mentioned. It's adorable when a kid loses a tooth that way. An adult not so much! It happened on the first piece I pulled out of a bag, and a couple thousand $$$ later I had a beautiful implant! I shouldn't of eaten the candy, it was wrong on so many levels! I bet B will have success when he puts the tooth under his pillow! Me, Nothing!! LOL, Leslie
