Another waiting game...

My PCP said I'm OKAY for surgery.  Now it's a game of getting her "approval" letter sent to Dr. S's office and then having them schedule me again. Hopefully they won't put me too far out. Dr. S did say they would "squeeze me in".  We'll see.. I'm not holding my breath! But I've already waited (and fought) this long.... not stopping now! :)

Keep your chin up, girl!!!  I think I'd call back and find out when they think they "might" be sending that letter over to Dr. S., and then check every few days to see if it's there.

Lisa, This sounds like great news. I am happy for you and hope you can get in ASAP. You have been waiting so long. Congrats and I will be sending quick surgery thoughts your way.

LOL Nicole... yep, been pulling my hair out!!  I'm going to keep on them until I have another date!

GO LISA!  Tell your PCP's office that you will pick up the letter this afternoon, that should get them rolling, then once you have it, you can hand deliver or fax, and bring the original the next time you see Dr. S.  That is what I had to do, put fires up their ***, it worked!  Hang in there, you can almost see the light at the end of your thin tunnel!!  Good Luck, Leslie:)
