Yep, I think it may be the flu...
I went home from work today. I was having trouble breathing properly. Am taking meds. Lots of fluids, the whole nine.
I feel soooo bad. Someone put me out of my misery...
RNY Gastric Bypass 1-8-08 350/327/200 (HW/SW/CW). I spend most of my time playing with my food over at Bariatric Foodie - check me out!
Me too.... is it swine or bird or just plain old non-animal-related flu?
Actually, I should have stayed home on Tuesday, I felt bad enough to stay home, but with state testing, there just aren't any subs to be had. (certified teachers have to give the tests, so subs are called in to cover for teachers who are giving the tests)... same with Wednesday... by the end of the teaching day Wednesday, I was actually taking vicodin because my VOICE hurt so bad! Thursday I was proctoring the test, and there weren't any subs to be had, and I'd set it up so that my students who had to test would test with me, etc. So even though I felt like "death warmed over" I went in (keeping as far from the kids as possible, and using hand sanitizer every twenty minutes and especially before handling anything that the kids would touch.) But I was somewhat ridiculous because my voice was nearly non-existant and I had to read the directions. That's when I began making plans to stay home today.
I've felt utterly miserable all day, all week... heck... all MONTH (I started the month with severe bronchitis).
