The Dreaded Elliptical
So I took my happy go lucky butt to the gym tonight and I amaze myself every time. I have gotten on the elliptical a few times, The very first time I lasted 2 minutes........Hurt for DAYS.......Never touched that damn thing again
When I signed up at my old gym the trainer got me on there and told me to Do what I could. That time lasted 4 minutes (Her standing their next to me gave me the boost to keep going.
Never touched it again.....Well at my new gym i decided to give it a whirl one night, I set it for 10 minutes...................I COMPLETED THAT 10 MINUTES and was so damn proud of myself I got in my car and the tears came down. Of course i cussed it for the next few days cause I hurt like Heck
Well I do it on and off to switch up from the treadmill, Today since my daycare kids left a little bit early I headed to the gym and decided to get on the Elliptical. I set it for 15 minutes and thought I'll be happy with my usual 10 minutes
Well blow me down I DID THE 15 MINUTES. My legs felt like Jello but it felt so good to tackle that challenge. Gonna try to get up to 20 next but will keep doing 15 to get my stamina down
So If you think you cant, don't think it, you never know until you try it!!!

LOL Girl my legs feel like that every single time I run..................my Doc said it was because I was losing muscle mass. So now I am packing in more protein. And would you believe they TOLD ME TO ADD CARBS!! They said sprinkle a few rice krispies in a yogurt in the morning or something to get the carbs my body needs. I was like "OKIE DOKIE ARTACHOKIE" Then I thought for a minute and said "Can I just eat a Rice Krispie treat instead" with a huge smile and she gave me angry eyes and said "NO now get out of my office!" LMAOOOOOOOOOOOO Cant blame a girl for trying!!!
I keep promising myself I WILL GET BACK TO THE GYM SOON!!! I need to start working out with YOU! And I cant wait to come to your support meeting Monday. Mike and I both really learned a lot at the last one DESPITE US BEING FASHIONABLY LATE!! LOL
