Back on Track

So it has been a week now since i've gotten back on track w/ my eating. It's been a long time since I can say I was eating mindfully and thinking about what i was putting in my body. I am just so grateful to finally be back on track. I haven't dumped or overate all week and that had become a daily occurrance. Tomorrow morning I will be heading to NJ for my grandmother's funeral. There wll probably be alot of food so wish me luck.

I did have a moment recently where I just finished eating so I know I was not hungry but I wanted to eat something not on my list of good stuff. so instead of acting on it, i acknowledged it and the feelings I had that were generating the head hunger and it slowly went away. Yippee!!!

Hope everyone has a lovely Thursday night.

Nicole that is wonderful news...

family gatherings whether happy or sad are always stressful and food filled (at least for me) I hope it goes smoothly for you.

congrats for acknowledging and dealing with your hunger.

have a safe trip!

Nicole,

If you are like me when I am in control and my weight is stable everything else in my life is good.  Just take one day at a time.  Sorry to hear about your grandmother; while in NJ, stay away from the food table and try to spend time talking with family.  One week is a great acomplishment.   Pam

my life has been a bit rocky actually but i'm trying to work on dealing w/ it better instead of sacrificing myself and my health. Look forward to meeting you soon Pam.

Congrats on being back on track.  You must be proud of yourself.

Nicole, I want to be like you when I grow up.

You go girl! I need to do some reflection myself. I keep depending on the pouch to kick my ass and guess what? It ain't happening!
