My Cruise

Well it was amazing! I can truly say that it would not have been something I would have done 133lbs ago! I stepped out of my comfort zone and did so many things that I know for sure I never previously would have done, I took a hip-hop dance class (oh yeah I can drop it like its hot now..lol) I danced in a congo line on the main deck. I joined line dances that I didnt know how to do and didnt care if I looked like a fool, for once I never thought about my weight first, I thought about ME first. It was the best 1 yr surgiversary reward I could have given to myself. I was able to celebrate the new me and it was wonderful. It was nice to not feel consumed by food. It was nice to wear heels in the club and dance for three hours and not feel like my feet were going to fall off. All in all it was a celebration of ALL the hard work I have put in over the last year. Thank you everyone that has been part of my process and my journey.

Wow April, I am glad you had a good time. It is so amazing when you look back and think of the things we missed when we overweight. Glad to see you can drop it like its hot!!! That is wonderful. I can only imagine what it feels like to wear heels again. I can remember I had so many pairs of heels in almost any color you could imagine. Maybe one day I can wear them again. My hubby would be so HAPPY . I am glad you had a good celebration....

My friend that was with me was like OMGosh YOU are wearing heels!! Haha it was just something I NEVER did before but now, that is my shoe of choice :)

Great pics...looks like you had a ton of fun!  One of my favorite things from cruises is getting to see what towel animal you have each night!  LOL!

I know I was so excited every night to come in and see our beds turned down and see the towel animals!! lol

I use to teach hip hop dance girl!!!! lol I am SO HAPPY for you and you sooooo DESERVED that break away. (((Hugs)))

April, the photos look great. We did the same cruise last January and it was awesome! We even had that same ship, the Imagination. I am jealous though, our excursion in Mexico got canceled because of really bad weather :( But, you look like you had tons of fun :) and you look beautiful in all the dresses.
