Today is my "1 month" check in with the doctor...

of course I'm 5 weeks 1 day out today...   and i'm at the tail end of a bad cold and I'm still a bit lumpy and bumpy from the hives.


my appointment is at 11:30... I'm a bit nervous. I admit it.

Nessa to be nervous is expected but honey you have done so well!! I am very proud of you!!!

Thanks Jilly.   I appreciate it.  I have a busy day today.   I took the afternoon off since I have the doc at 11:30 then I have a hair appointment FINALLY at 3:30 which is good.. it's been SIX weeks since my last hair appointment and I must have half an inch of roots... it's bad....

I"m just scared that the doctor will brand me a failure for losing so little so far.  And I can't see it.   Angie said she can see it yesterday.   Friends are so kind....

52 lbs is great! 

I still feel like a failure.  I think that's why i don't post much.

that's 52 from my heaviest only about 20 since surgery 5 weeks ago...

but I saw him and EVERYONE was pleased.  
got my b12 shot and said I would take oral b12.  I hate shots.
ALL my blood work was fine even my formerly low D!
Iron is good I don't need to take Iron!
I am cleared to start adding all foods back (except rice, breads, or pastas for a while)
he'll see me in two months...

YOU GO GIRL!!  Glad to hear the good news.  I've been doing the B-12 shots at home myself.  Never thought I could do it -- but never say never.
