3 THINGS FOR TUESDAY
Good morning!! Ick!! Wet!!!!! Now I know how Boxer feels, stuck out in Washington State, where apparently, the sun never shines!!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Tomorrow's payday. Wow!! I need it!! Not that I don't every two weeks, but this week I seem to be stretched more than normal.
2. Honeycrisp Apples - These are my fave, and only available for a limited amount of time. They are YUM!!!
3. That I got to see George for a few minutes last night. Granted, neither one of us got out of our cars, but it was still nice to SEE him!!! He's feeling better, but the doctor says no smoochies for two more weeks!!! I'm just glad he's on the road to recovery!!
Please think good thoughts and say a prayer for my Canadian friend, Ron, who's back in the hospital after a revision last week. I haven't talked to him in a few days, but he was having some issues with his drain site.
Have a great day!
Hugs,
Tia
MMMM...I love apples this time of year - you should try the Jonagold (I think that's what they're called) - delish! Especially baked with brown sugar sugar twin and cinnamon...yum.
Today, I'm greatful for:
1. The fact that the rain died down BEFORE I had to walk six blocks to work.
2. My boss has allowed me to block off my schedule for the next two weeks to take care of my work load before I go out for surgery.
3. My very supportive family and friends who have expressed their joy and excitement as I've told them of my surgery. It would totally suck if I had to do this on my own.
4. Duck Boots. Oh yeah.

Giggle!!! You always put a smile on my face!!!
I peeled, chopped and nuked my Honeycrisp with cinnamon and Splenda and am eating them with my Greek yogurt. YUM!!!
I'm so very glad that you have an outside support system - you've no idea how invaluable that is. My family continues to be so supportive of me, even to this day. And my Mom, well, let's just say I don't think I would've made it through the first six weeks or so had it not been for her.
Duck boots? As in....boots shaped like ducks? LOL!!
MUAH!

I'm going to be recovering at my mother's...per her request. Plus, she has a recliner that I can get in and out of easier than I think I'd be able to deal if I had to sleep in the bed with my husband. My sister has been the only one who is not on board - she's jealous, and I know that...we've lived like this our entire lives. She never wants to "do something" but gets jealous when others take the bull by the horns and do it.
And Duck Boots are wonderful - they are my rain boots...and they keep my feeties all toasty and warm and dry...
And now, I want baked apples...mmmmmm...apples...

Does your Mom live local? I'd love to come up and see you while you're recovering, either at her place or yours.
Your sister - well, she either get on board or she won't - her tough luck. Bu****ch out, because as the pounds starting melting away, she's likely to get even more jealous. You have to do what's right for YOU and no one else - and you know that.
I know! It IS baked apple weather, huh? Ooooh, with some s/f caramel syrup!! Gee, thanks, Bernice!!!! LOL!!!
