3 THINGS FOR MONDAY!
Good morning!!! Hope everyone had a fabu weekend!!! Mine was good, I was very busy, but got a lot accomplished.
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. I think I have a short week. I might take off on Friday, depending upon the outcome of a hearing here tomorrow.
2. That KB are both back to school today!! PHEW!!! I kind of feel bad for K, she's going to be forever making up work!!!! But I am SOO SOO SOO SOOOOO glad they both escaped the worst of the flu.
3. That even at the last minute, KB were able to get Halloween costumes. K is going to be a hippie, and B is going to be a Transformer. We normally NEVER wait until the last minute for these types of things, but with both of them so ill, there wasn't a choice.
4. The beautiful colors on the leaves! When the sun peeked out on Saturday, it looked like the trees had exploded!! I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fall!!!!
Have a great day!

Can not say it was Fabu : heard yesterday that 2 members of our church passed away:
both were parents of former classmates.
Today I am grateful for
1. As much as they drive me nuts at times I am SO grateful I have both of my parents
still with me: yesterdays news was a shock to Mom: she came home from church
very depressed.
2. That my parents are going to visit my Uncle in Jacksonville in November.
3. Another WOW moment Saturday: I stopped at the bank drive thru and
cashed a check: the teller looked at the pictures on my ATM card ( preop)
and my drivers license. She said " Not to be forward but you look fantastic;
I can see you lost a lot of weight" It was an unexpected compliment from a
total stranger - I must admit it made my day.
Tia: glad the kids are better and back in school: will pray for no relapse!

Good morning all! I hope everyone had a great weekend! Mine was GREAT! I got to support a great cause....breast cancer research. 6 members of my family went to the tattoo shop in pasadena & got breast cancer ribbon tats & the money was donated to the cancer foundation! It was awesome! I got to meet Jilly, Mike, and Wes while I was there & that was wonderful! Jilly....I <3 you girly!
Today I am grateful for:
1} I am going to hi-jack on of Tia's.....the fall colors! This is my favorite time of year, except for when it snows. I enjoyed the ride yesterday & looking at all the orange, red, and yellow leaves!
2} That my family came together for the cause this weekend. Our one cousin who was with us is a 2x breast cancer survivor....and I have lost 7 aunts to this disease. We had a blast!
3} That I have allowed complete strangers into my life & now I call them friends!
I hope everyone has a great week!!!!

Good Morning!!
Despite the eventful weekend I had, my family and I are truly blessed and I know there is a God.
Today I am thankful for:
1. The physician at St. Agnes hospital for possibly saving my little sister life. I received a call from my brother-in-law at 2:45 am on Fri/Sat morning that my sister was at the hospital he was cramping. My sister was 9 weeks pregnant expecting her first child. However, a sonogram was performed and she was told that the baby was in her tubes. The Dr. suggested surgery to remove her ovary and take the baby because their was no chance of survival. However, upon performing the surgery they found that she was hemoraging and had internal bleeding. If she would have waited any longer I could have lost my sister. So I am truly blessed and so very thankful! She also will be able to conceive in the future if she wishes too.
2. My family and friends for being so supportive. Everyone that knows me personally knows that I am crazy about my little sister, she is and always will be my baby no matter how grown she gets..
3. The blessings that come so abundently for my family and friends.
Have a blessed day!!
