3 THINGS FOR TGIF!!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Bernice got her approval!! Woo-hoo!!! As fate would have it, I was pm'ing her (to tell her who to stay away from) to ask if she would do me the honor of being my angelette, at the EXACT moment she was pm'ing me to ask me to be her angel!!! It is MY honor!!
2. My friend, Ron, from Canada, is now a REAL LOSER!!! LOL!! His surgery took longer than expected - although it was open as expected, being a man, his intestines had to complicate things!!! LOL!!! I haven't talked to him, but I know he's home and when he reads this (and he will) he'd BETTER call me! LOL!!! Thanks to those of you who went over and wished him well!! I know he was touched (in the head), by us thinking of him.
3. My shoulder pain continues to decrease. I got a prescription rub, Voltaren, and I think I love this stuff!!! Combined with the oral 'roids, it seems to be doing the trick! Thank God! Mom said when she was rubbing it last night, the knot has decreased noticeably in size.
4. That I'm having tea with my high school bff tomorrow. We talk frequently and live fairly close, but because of the insanity of our lives, we don't get together as often as we would like. Plus, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Tea by Two in Bel Air. If you've never been - go! And NO, I'm NOT organizing a tea party!! Nice try, though!!!!
Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!! Get your pumpkins early - because of the rain, a farmer warned us several weeks ago that pumpkins were going to be harder to come by the closer we get to Halloween. I'm going to roast some pumpkin seeds after we carve ours!!
Hugs,
Tia
Tia OMG you are up so early today. Hope everything goes good for you for a couple days!
Today I am grateful for
1. the fact that I am not beating myself over skipping the MAC last night: on he way home I got so tired - I went home- had a bowl of soup and went to bed: Feeling rested today!.
2. That Its FRIDAY
3. My friends , Family and furbaby! she stayed on the bed with me all night and
this morning cuddled up to me and gave me a good morning kinss to wake me up LOL
4. that Tia's shoulder feels better today : and Deb starts her physical therapy.
Have a good weekend all
I've been awake since 4. Ugh! That won't bode well for the remainder of the day!!!!
Crazy girl! NEVER beat yourself up over missing anything in favor of rest. You need to be recharged to keep going - sounds like you did the right thing! Um....how much protein was in that soup?
Happy's wearing her hot pink, "I'm so happy I could just poop!" doggie t-shirt!!!! Giggle!!!
I hope Deb gets some relief soon!!!!!
TTYL!!

Good Morning Maryland.
I have to second the notion on the TGIF - between the count down to my boy's golf outing to Myrtle Beach and my surgery it is difficult to stay in the present moment - but I try. Tia, I am glad your shoulder is improving - I've seen my share of muscle and joint pain over the years and no matter how familiar it might be - it's never any fun.
Ok - my three things.
1. For the beautiful pink - orange clouds this morning just before sunrise as I drove into work - way too early mind you.
2. That so far no other family member has come down with the bug my 14 yr old daughter has had for three days now. Poor thing is so miserable - I believe she has a visit to the doctor in her future today.
3. That it is Friday and I have two whole days to look forward to with my family - the people who help charge my emotional batteries and get me prepared to face the next work - a - day grind week.
Have a great weekend everyone
Morning Russ!!!!!
I've only been to Myrtle Beach once - my honeymoon 21 years ago - but it was delightful!!! And it was the middle of October, so the tourists were gone, the beach was deserted and the water still warm!!! It was delightful - or would have been had I gone by myself!!! LOL!!!
I'll tell you Russ, I've NEVER experienced this kind of suck my breath away pain!!! Ugh! And I'm in NO hurry to repeat it!!!
I think it's a wise decision to get your girl to the doctors. Both my niece and nephew have H1N1 - not something you want to play around with!
Are you getting all your rubber ducks lined up for your surgery? I'm sure you're excited! I'm excited FOR you!!!
Have a great weekend!
Hugs,
T
Happy TGIF.
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. Able to wake and see another beautiful day.
2. That I have people like Tia on this website that write and concerned about you. Other websites are not the same.
3. Its friday, I have the weekend to unwind and my niece coming in town and love to cook healthy meals for us.
Everyone have a wonderful weekend. I plan to make the most of it.

Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it: Boldness has genius power, and magic in it
Good morning, Robin!!!!!
Thank you SO much for your wonderful compliment!!!! I've gotten SO much from this board that I only hope I can repay it. This board has brought me some of the best friends I could ever hope to have!!!
So what kind of healthy meals will you and your niece be cooking? I hope you have a wonderful time with her!!!
Have a great weekend!!!! December 3 is a-comin', girlfriend!!! WOOOO-HOOOOO!
Hugs,
Tia
So glad you're feeling better Tia!
My three things are:
1. Everyone is getting some relief from some pain or fatigue in some shape or form.
2. It's Friday, what else can I say?
3. I feel confident that I'll be able to pass the test on Monday - it certainly would mean alot to my agency for me to get certified, and no, Tia, we're not talking certified lunatic.....LOL
4. Hubby's former job called him yesterday and asked him to come back to work on Monday. The downside is they are indicating it'll only be for four weeks. SIGH, so here's to hoping they'll keep him longer than just 4 weeks, or that when he gets laid off again, the unemployment will pick back up without a hitch.
5. For my dear friends here on OH - love you all, and I'm so blessed to have you all. Had it not been for this board, I wouldn't have known what great people are out there that touch my life in many ways.
Morning sweetness!!!!
Thank you - I AM feeling better!! I was sick and tired of being sick and tired, yanno?
I'll cross my fingers for Jer - unemployment, without a hitch? Hmmm......Heather's hubby STILL hasn't gotten a check, and they've recently told him there's such a backlog, that it may be 4-6 weeks before he even receives his FIRST check.
Yes, Sorbi, certifiable you are. But SUCH a bright light in my life!! MUAH!!! Good luck on the test!!
LYTTM&B!

So glad Bernice got her approval!
I'm not feeling very grateful since finding out last evening that I'm stuck here in WA for another 2-? days! The weather out here is for the freakin' birds and I just want to be home already! 2 weeks on the road is plenty!
1. I'm happy that Tia's shoulder is feeling better!
2. That I got a little bit more sleep last night than I've been getting.
3. That my husband is home to care for all of the furbabies while I'm away for work.
