I am so sorry. I did hear a conversation at the support group meeting and they were talking about gaining weight at about 2 years out. I am sure most who were talking had already had the bypass. I am not 100% sure. There are a lot of good people here and they have more experience than me. I wish you well and hope you can get back on track.

Hi there,

The good thing about having this tool is that you can work on getting back on track and lose the weight. This is a life long change and I am glad you posted to get the help you need.

I suggest to do the 5 day pouch test. I will get you back to basics and you will lose a few pounds while doing it. Then jump start your exercise.  If you are walkig then do some jogging or change up your cardio exercise.  Increase your protein intake, lower your carb intake and stay away from any carbonated drinks even if it if s/f since it has a lot of sodium you will retake fluids. Increase your fluid intake.

Please know that we are here for you and post anytime you like.

Best wishes to you!

This is so common. I am 3 years out and put 20 pounds back on. Doc said it was normal but for someone who was over 400 pounds to begin with.....doesn't think it is normal. Up your protein and get out there a walk or go to your gym if you are a member. That should help jump start you

Good Luck and keep coming here for more advice!!!! and support

Ditto from Crofton.  Get to the gym and up your proteins over 85.

I am a gym rat because I work out of my home.  Fridge is 30 steps away and the desk chair is sooooooo comfy.
Good luck
