THURSDAY'S FEED BAG
What's everyone eating? This is SO comfort food weather - and yes, pre-op, you CAN still have comfort food - it doesn't have to be carb-laden, either! Just experiment and you can come up with some yummy stuff that meets our requirements of high protein, low refined carbs.
Yesterday:
B - Protein coffee
2 poached eggs with cheese
L - Tuna salad on whole grain sandwich thins
D - 1 slice veggie pizza and topping from additional slice
Today:
B - Protein coffee
Greek yogurt (?)
L - Veggie pizza
D - Turkey/cheese roll-ups
Tossed salad
All my vits, all my fluids!
Next!!

I've not been so good today- I've been craving carbs like crazy... maybe I shouldn't have started the day with OATMEAL!
So far today I've had:
B- Oatmeal (Banana's and cream)
L- Left over all beef chili from dinner the other night
S- Peanut butter toast and a piece of cheese
Not too good ont he fluids either.... guess I better get my butt in gear.
