3 THINGS FOR THURSDAY
Hugs,
Julie
1. Thank heavens for Tylenol. I did something very nasty to my neck at night and woke up unable to turn my head any which way without screaming bloody murder.
2. Thank heavens for my body that heals quickly. I don't have any cramps or bleeding from the LEEP. *knocks on wood*
3. Getting to work at 6 a.m. Everybody else's commute is taking twice as long the later they come in.
MMMM...coffee...
Julie - still keeping you and your Mom in my thoughts and prayers!
Today I'm greatful for:
1. Employee Appreciation week - no raises or bonuses this year, but hey, at least they are letting us wear jeans and giving us crappy nachos for lunch...LOL. I'll take jeans day, and I get to wear my beloved football Jersey today...Go EAGLES!
2. Its nearly Friday. I've been so busy this week my head is spinning. The weekend will be a blur too, but I have my Stitch-n-B*tch Saturday night, so that will make up for it!
3. I'm gearing up for my neice's wedding next Friday and my shoes came in. First pair of heels I'm going to wear since knee surgery over a year ago. And they don't hurt! Yay!

Hey Bernice!!!
Heels that don't hurt? That deserves a post all its own!!!!!! LOL!! I've yet to find heels that my feet like - and vice versa. I've just decided that as much as I LOVE the look of them, they're simply not doable for me!! So....I'll live vicariously through you!!
No raises for us, either - heck, we're getting time off WITHOUT pay, but I have a job and so many others don't, so of the two, I'll take a furlough day (or 3).
Have a great Stitch-n-B*tch!
Hugs,
Tia
I know the furlough days went over like a led balloon for my friends that work at the State. After we had so many layoffs this year, I'm happy to have a job...especially since my company is in the news all the time (I work for Citi). But still - they've treated us like crap all year, and to make up for it they passed out stress balls and gave us free nachos. Gee, thanks.
These heels are awesome, but I got them from Romans - and they have the extra wide widths (which I hope I won't need anymore after surgery) and they are pretty comfy. It's not my feet I worry about so much, but my knee. It starts to ache after a while if I'm not wearing "sensible shoes" but these don't bother it. Probably because they are wedges.
I LOVE Stitch*n*B*tch. By the way, if anyone is is the Aberdeen area, or anywhere close in Harford county, and you crochet or knit or craft, we meet once a month at my house on Saturday nights. You are more than welcome - just PM me!

I know what you mean...my Mom is getting to the point where she can't live on her own. Hopefully my husband will be back to work in the next year, so we can get a bigger house and move her in.
You're definitely on my prayer list!
