Anyone eat mussels?
I tried mussels like when was 9 months post op. I did great with them. I did stay away from any that was too chewy afraid it would get stuck.
I am who I am and accept my feelings wholeheartedly.
Those that mind don't matter, and those that matter don't mind.

Ewwwww lol I have never ate those but my friend Stacey loved them and could not have them after her RNY. I will email her and ask her why or for how long. Maybe because of the chew thing like you said honey. lol I cant wait for crabs next Tuesday though. Im all EXCITED! I told Mike and he said he knew exactly where that place was.....he didnt know of the 2.00 crab thingie though. lol SO EXCITED! Did you go last night? ;o)
Yep! 3 crabs and ice water for $6.00. Same for my son! Cheap dates. I'm looking forward to seeing you and your hubby there as well. I'll get there early and save us a table because it gets crowded on $2 crab night for obvious reasons. Depending on the weather, you can eat in or out. Gotta love Skipper's Pier. Calypso Bay does $1.00 crab night on the same night -- beefs up the competition. I've never been to Calypso Bay though, it always seems to have more of a "drinking" crowd. Which is fine, if I was a drinker . Now that's not to say I have not drank my fair share of frozen margaritas, because I most certainly have. Miss them babies too! But I did improvise this summer and make my own SF margaritas with crystal lite lemonade and lime juice. I skipped the tequila because I'm not sure if I would have made it out of the pool or not! LOL.
i haven't had mussels just cuz i dont like them but have had clams and they went down fine. the thing is everyone is different and i know for a fact i can tolerate pretty much everything in moderation. if you can tolerate most things, you can probably try one and wait a little bit, see what happens.
