Chewable Vitamins
Which chewable vitamins do you all take? I got some samples from Bariatric Advantage and I can't stomach them now, so I know I won't be able to stomach them post-op. I was thinking of taking gummy vitamins because I don't like the chalky taste of most chewables, BUT I noticed most of them have sugar. My main concern is Vitamin D and Calcium. Vitamin D pills aren't that big, but Calcium pills are horse pills. I've taken Viactiv in the past, but don't really like the taste. I guess if I can't find something that tastes good, I'll just have to deal with it! Just thought I'd ask to see if anyone found chewables that don't leave a bad taste in your mouth.
Thanks :)
Centrum Senior has a chewable that's not bad.
you would need to add iron if you are a menstruating woman...
brian is taking tony hawk gummies. we tried everything else till he found what he liked.
remember if you are taking regular vitamins it's normally suggested that you take double the dose recommended.
so it would be two centrum chewables and 4 tony hawk gummies.
for calcium remember that we need calcium citrate not calcium carbonate... I take the bariatric advantage calcium chews they are in lemon and chocolate. i need 6 a day but they are my 'treat'
once I can take pills again I will probably switch to the petite citricals.
