Surgery today

Hi All ,
My name is Bridget, my husband Brian White is a member and had his gastric bypass surgery today. He came through the surgery fine and is up and walking around ****il the pain meds wear off...). He wanted to say thank you to all of you who have supported him on his journey so far. He will post on Sunday when he is home and coherent.

Thanks for the update Bridget...what great news!  Here's hoping its a speedy recovery.  Tell Brian that we're waiting to welcome him to the Loser's Bench!

Thanks so much for posting for him!  I'm glad everything went well.  Tell him to walk as much as he can, because it'll help with the gas pains.  He also needs to remember to sip, sip, sip!!!

Bridget, thank you for letting us know how it went!  We've all dusted off a seat on the Loser's bench for him, and let him know that we are proud of him!  Walk, walk, and walk!  Here's to wishing a speedy recovery and a smooth journey!

Thanks everyone... You guys have been wonderful for him and we are both greatful that he has such an awesome support system outside me and the kids. One of us will keep you updated. He is requesting the computer in the hospital today so i'm sure he will post something.
