Have to share my excitement...
Because no one would really understand this...
I saw my surgeon on Monday, and since then I've been making appointments for all the stuff they said I needed.
About 5 minutes ago, I get a call from my surgeons office. The nurse there called to tell me they called my insurance company, and the following items would need to be submitted to them, so they could forward my infomation for approval:
*Thyroid test
*Psych eval
*Complete physical
Are you freaking kidding me?!!!! Is that all that I need? I can't believe it!
God is Awesome! I feel sooooooooo good right now! No one really knows how good this feels. Not my husband, or anyone that hasn't been in this situation. I just wanted to share :0)

I meant to give you the name of a LCSW that many of us have used, continue to use and love - Ranesa McNally - 410-602-0102. Now, keep in mind that she's located at GBMC with her primary office in Pikesville, but she's so good that I have a friend who continues to come from Montgomery County every month to see her.
Ranesa has had weight loss surgery and plastics and so totally gets us!! She's the best!

I'm still in shock, especially since I had planned to get all of that stuff done next week.....still searching for the Psychiatrist, but It'll all come together :0)
I don't understand how they have over 200 psychiatrist, yet out of the 20 I've called none do bariatric evals.....I bet cause they want me to pay $400 for the one that the surgeon uses....I'll keep search.
