haha I love this one because I remember when I first showed Andre on the scale I weighed less than him, he almost had a mental breakdown....lmbo!!! And just last week I said to a co-worker oh I am cold and she was like here take my sweater and I couldnt believe it but it fit!! I was amazed! She looked so tiny!! lol
Great post baby girl!!! I wont be at my one year until December BUT I have had a ton of
WOW moments!!!
I use to always ask for a "Table" when I went out to eat because I could not comfortably fit into a booth and it was so embarrassing. I recall being 5 months post op and going out to eat at Red Lobster and asking for a table. They had no tables open and said "We have two booths" and my stomach got sick and Mike looked at me and said "Baby your over 100 pounds lighter we can take a booth, you will be fine" and so I told the waiter okay. Not only did I fit but there was TOO MUCH ROOM! I sat there and cried. I guess for me it was hard because when I look in the mirror I still see me at 311 pounds ya know? So that was a BIG WOW moment.
Then the theme parks were big for me this summer fitting on everything..............and buying a dress from the JUNIORS section of a normal store instead of Lane Bryant was a HUGE WOW!!!! LOL
Im so proud of you April. You know I just think your an amazing person an incredible Mother and one hell of a friend. I love you girl. (((Hugs)))

Jilly thank so much much for those kinds words. You are such a sweetheart.
Girl I still remember a few months ago, Kelly, Heather, Pamela and I went to breakfast and during breakfast Jordan wanted to sit on my lap in the booth. I thought well heck, ill try it and guess what she fit!! Kelly was like look at you with Jordan is sitting ON your lap in a booth, I bet that would have never happened a year ago and it was such a huge moment for me!! Just being able to be that Mom that can do those things, is PRICELESS!!
haha and Kelly will tell you I texted her as soon as I bought some PJs from the JUNIORS section :-)

It really IS awesome to read your experiences and think that might be possible for me soon. I think about it all the time! Actually April, I was just telling my best friend your story about getting on the ride with your child and you seeing another mom not able to stay on the ride and you feeling for her. When I first joined OH, yours was one of the first stories I read and it brought tears to my eyes and really stuck with me.
