3 THINGS FOR THURSDAY
My biggest is that it's Friday for me!! WOO-HOO!!!!! All I have to do is payroll today, and I might even sneak out early!!! Sssssh!!! Actually, my Lt.'s words were, "I don't care what you do today!" Gotta love that!!
Today, I'm grateful for:
1. I feel good and feel like I look good. I'm always self-conscious of how I look, but today, my looks on the outside make me feel good on the inside (which, of course, is more important!).
2. I get to spend some time with some friends this weekend. Mom and I will be out and about all day tomorrow, but Saturday's for MA GIRLS!!
3. That I get to see George tomorrow morning. Poor guy, he's been sick at first with a cold and sore throat, and now it's progressed to laryngitis. And...there's been a snag in his ex buying him out of his house, which may put the new house on hold. Cross your fingers for me!! In the beginning, he asked me to be patient with everything, and honest to Dog, I'm trying, but I didn't have the heart to tell the poor guy that I missed the patience train!!!!

Morning Tia - and BOO on the laryngitis. Must I teach you both sign language so you can lovingly communicate to each other?
Today I'm grateful for:
1. My friends as always - quite a few successful surgiversaries here!
2. Saturday's outing - I'm looking forward to it, and hoping I won't be too late.
3. I am just a few days away from vacation. I am really needing it, if I'm being snappy at work.
4. My plans to have a pedicure this weekend - I don't care if I'm tapping into the Vegas money, I want to get my footsies ready for lots of walking! I can never cut my toenails right, so I'll let someone do it for me.
5. Bought some 14Ps at Macys yesterday, one of which is a dark purple pair of jeans. Snug fitting, but I can sit down and breathe, so that means it's not too tight. YAY! My 16s were starting to slide down a bit, and thank goodness for my hips - they didn't fall off.
6. I walked past the scale this morning, and fought the urge to check it.
7. I am totally loving my new prescription glasses!
