looks like...

looks like i'm dead in the water for now as far as my wls is concerned.  Obesity law said they couldn't/wouldn't help.  The federal department if labor claims there is nothing they can do.  I have mailed my last appeal and waiting for a reply. In my appeal i gave the differnt information and permission for them to share any a ll information that they need to in order to assist in getting what I need.  So we will see.  In the mean time it looks like my total knee replacment may happen before or by Christmas.  I doing what I can to tone my body, loose weight, and prepare for going through all fo the test and evaluations once again when the new contract comes up for negotiations.

I know things happen for a reason, and we don't usually like having to wait or when things take turns that are uncomfortable.  If I could self pay I would. But I just can't afford the payments of bwtween 600 and 1500 permonth for the next 6 yrs.

Who knows maybe national health care will be passedan that will include wls.

Oh Lori, I'm sorry you've hit another road block.  I hope everything eventually works out for you.  You are right...things happen for a reason, but that still doesn't erase disappointment and frustration.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for that final appeal.

Lori, I am so sorry that you have to deal with all this. I wish I had a way to help you as I see you want this so badly. I do really hope that something will change and you get some good news. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I also hope your knee surgery goes well. Keep your head up things happen for reasons unknown to us...

Lori -

I'm really sorry.  It's certainly not for your lack of trying, that's for sure.

For now, just focus on your knee surgery - that'll keep you busy for a while.

Hugs,

Well maybe it's Gods way of telling you that the knee replacement is more important right now.  My mom had her first one done in January and her second done in September and she's lost at least 40 or 50lbs...maybe that will happen to you and help out some!

Best wishes,
Heather

I finish aqua therapy this week and have an apointment with a personal trainer after work today to see what we can work out in the mean time.

Lori:

So sorry things are so rough on you getting this surgury:
I have one final suggestion:  send a copy of your last appeal information
to the HR dept.  I think maybe they can help!

If they see all the information you have gathered maybe they can
"undo " the exclusion?  or maybe they will consider not
putting the exclusion on the next policy?
