Well....there you go, Nikki.  You were worried, but you're right on track.

Yes, like I said before, the main lapband forum, can be frustrating, it can be infuriating and the information you gleen can be just plain wrong.  There are quite a few vets who stay on there and try to dispell the misinformation some of the newer people dream up, but most times it just ends up in some cat fight.  In the end, the best information is follow what your surgeon and his/her staff tell you, trust your own instincts as to whose information/insight you take on the forum, and don't compare yourself to everyone else.  Oh, and stay with the Maryland Forum.  No matter what surgery you have/had, everyone is here to support you!

You keep rockin' band girl!

It's not how fast you go, but that you're moving in the right direction!

Thanks Terri!  That is exactly what my PA said.  He said he goes there and things he reads makes him SO ANGRY! Again why he spent so much time with me.  I am now picking and choosing what posts to read! Plus I have been less anxious about some food choices as i can eat more.  I just log everything into my tracker.  As I can eat more food I know it will be challenging but my PA promised he will get me right in my band so that I will be able to enjoy foods I like just not too many!

Well the weekend is here and I'm hoping to get my but in gear and cook all my meals for next week. Big job but it's about time I turn on my new stove in my new house!  If i come up with anything I will be sure to share!

Have a great weekend everyone!

Best,
N
