wow. i am getting my endoscopy in a few hours, and i am still fuming (ans awake, even though i did work late)

3pm today i got a call from my wl doc's office saying that they didn't receive the pre-op info from my pcp.they said that if it wasn't to them by 5pm, they would cancel the surgery. i called my pcp and between 3pm and 445pm i must have placed 100 phone calls trying to get the info to the right place.

what ever happened  to when you call to make sure everything is received that is needed, it actually was?

fortunately, everything fixed now.  i just had to vent

thanks for listening

So sorry this is so common now at doctors offices and it just happens. Sometimes I think people forget or they are just not doing their jobs. I hope that it all works out for you so you can have your surgery.

Oh man, do I understand that frustration! Thankfully, my surgeon's office staff is THE BEST I've ever seen. They didn't wait too long to say where's this or that and they called the insurance and my PCP and dealt with a lot of the issues. But, I had to make sure I called the PCP and other offices regularly to make sure things got done.

Good luck with the endoscopy! Can't tell you to have fun ;-)

Unfortunately that's the way of the world these days.  Keeps you on your toes at least!
