OMG YAY!

I just called Upper Chesapeake Bariatric to make sure they have gotten all my pre-op testing (they are missing some, but I'm picking it up from my doctor on Monday) and I asked her what it was looking like for a possible surgery date (if she could even tell me).

She told me everything looks good, and more than likely, once the insurance approval comes through, we're looking at either 11/24 or 12/1.  Yay!  I have a potential date!  This isn't something way off in the future now - it's really real.  They will be submitting to insurance on Oct. 21st - the day AFTER my last weigh in appointment with my primary care.

I'm so excited!

AWESOME! I'm excited for you. Keep us posted. when i got my date, it was a bit surreal. Takes a little bit to get used to.

What great and exciting news! Congrats! I STILL cant believe *this* is my reality and I am nearly a year post-op now. It is quite an amazing journey!! Best Wishes!

Thanks for all your kind words!  I realize this isn't an "official" date yet, but knowing that I'm on their radar (after having not physically been in their office since April) is very exciting, and knowing that they've got me pencilled in until the insurance approval comes back is even more exciting!
