Exercise is bad for you!

So i've been trying to get back on track w/ moving my body every day. Wednesday i was taking a walk w/ a coworker and sprained my right ankle and badly bruised and scraped my left knee. I was so upset. It ruined alot of plans I had, including dancing w/ my gf's in AC! I have to admit I got a bit depressed but am starting to feel better.

Today I am able to walk on it pretty well and am planning on swimming tomorrow. I need to find some type of rubber thing to put on my ankle so any suggestions, let me know.

Man that sucks about spraining the ankle though!! Glad your feeling a bit better. Swimming will be good, untill it feels 100%!!

I did that a month before surgery! I totally feel your pain LITERALLY! I stepped off the curb walking into work and twisted my ankle and went down in the street.  I could hardly get up and scraped everything up to. 

Lots of ice and elevations.  My suggestion for the pool would be wear your normal brace until you get in the water.  The water should help with the movement and healing without the restriction.

Hope you feel better soon Nicole!!   How about some of the "pet wrap" the vets use? It can be purchased at Walgreens and then tossed afterwards... it adheres to itself.
