How Do I Get an Angel?

With my surgery less than a month away, I was wondering how I go about getting an "Angel". I'm also wondering what exactly that's all about.

Lisa even though Im sort of a newbie my mouth is always running here and you have corresponded to quite a few of my post.

i'd be happy to step up and be your angel! 

The purpose of the Angel is that when your surgery is completed succesfully a family member or friend calls your Angel to let them know how everything went and then  your Angel let's the board know.

Tia was my angel and did a great job of updating everyone with details and all :)

I really appreciate all of the support I've already gotten from this board throughout my struggle just to be approved. I can't wait to officially be a "loser" and I know everyone here will help me every step of the way.  Although my family supports me, unless you've been through it you cannot know what it's like. Having all of you to talk to during hard and happy times is really great!

I live in Arbutus and would be glad to meet up with you or whatever.

Forgive me, I wanted to volunteer, and time got away from me.  However, I know Nikki will do a phenomenal job, especially since she has the face of one!!!!  Essentially, an angel is the go-between between your family (hubby) and the board.  Once you've made it to the bench, your hubby will call Nikki, and she in turn, will update the board.

Keeping in mind that an angel is there for support and encouragement, you have a whole Maryland board full of them!!!

For future losers,,,, just ask somebody. When I needed an angel, I just simply asked Tia, then others just sort of became angels as well. Tia is my "official" angel, but like she said,,, the MD bd all kind af jumped in as angels.
