3 THINGS FOR WEDNESDAY

Good morning!  Happy Hump Day!!!  Today, I'm grateful for:

1.  Happy!!!  Today is Happy's 3rd birthday and the 2nd anniversary of her adopting us.  No, that wasn't a mistake - she owns us!!!  I love my puppy sooooo much, she helped my broken heart heal after we lost Molly the Beagle and I was inconsolable.  The love this little thing gives us, and especially me, is amazing.  No matter where she is in the house, when she thinks it's time for me to come home, she sits in the window, craning her nec****il she hears or sees my car.  She often hears it before she sees it.  Then, as I open the door, she's prancing, dancing, spinning and swimming her way into my heart.  I've often said that if I could find a man who would do that, I'd be a lucky girl!!  She's been a really good girl, too, a great mouser (thank God!), very few accidents, and other than chewing up a Christmas sheep, some peppermint gum and some truffles, she's not been a bit of trouble.  Oh, and she terrorizes little kids - but that's okay, some of them need to be terrorized!!!!  Happy Birthday, Sweet Happy!!!  You make my heart Happy!

2.  Perfume - I was told this a.m. that I smelled amazing!!!!  Gotta love that!

3.  Chick-fil-A diet lemonade - I've been trying to cut back on my coffee, and this is helping!

Good morning Tia, that is so sweet about Happy. I think in a few years I am going to get IT BE MINE girl a puppy to grow up with.

1. My scale is finally moving again. Was in a big stall there for quite a while, but I think thanks to some intense cardio it is moving! yay! I am only 3 lbs from reaching ONEderland!

2. My Office manager is out of the office today.

3. The official countdown is on for my cruise, I sail in 19 days!!!!!!

There are tons of puppies that need good homes in rescues - so I hope you'll go that route.  Every one of our dogs has been a rescue and we've never had a complaint. 

3 pounds away from ONDERLAND???  Holy cannoli!!!  You go, girl!!!

I need to hook up with you about the coffee maker.  I know you live in Laurel - do you ever get up this way, because I never come down that way, BUT....we could meet somewhere this weekend, maybe.  Let me know.

Good Morning Maryland

And a very Happy Birthday to Happy.  I totally understand the unconditional love
you are talking about Tia:  Cuddles has mopped up a few tears when my heart
was breaking;  been comfort when I was sick: and in general makes going
home everyday a Happy thing.
Cuddles will start pacing around 9:00 pm if I am not home yet - and gets
really upset on bowling night when its almost 10:00 before I get home.

Today I am grateful for:

1.  Heat patches:  I put one on last night after the water classes and it eased the
shoulder pain enough that I could sleep.

2.  Its bowling night :  Yeah for me but Cuddles will have a fit !

3.  For completing some Homework Ranesa gave me LOL

Morning Darla!!!

Thanks for the bday wishes for Happy!!  You know, men may let us down (and do), but our dogs are always there for us!!!!  Mom said Happy was NOT Happy over the weekend while I was away.

My shoulder must be having sympathy pains - it's hurting me this a.m.  Be careful bowling doesn't aggravate it tonight.

I'm only buying Happy a slice (I think), but I'll taste the frosting!!!!

Morning everyone....happy birthday Happy.  I wish I had a dog again....sigh....Ok heres mine for today.

1.  Facebook. Yes I know, stupid. I caught up with an old friend whom I have not spoken to in 10 years. Ive missed her terribly and finally found her again and IM so thankful for that.

2.  Broken and ugly jewelry.  Ok this one sounded really stupid, but I had a bunch of old necklaces, ugly rings, and some broken pieces that were ready for the trash but instead I sent them to US goldbuyers and they paid me 400 bucks for them. woot. Really needed that right now.

3.  Work.  Yesterday was the best day in a long time that I finally had enough work. Im still looking for another job (hopefully at the hospital) to supplement my income. Even though I have limited work at least I have a job that pays something, so for that Im thankful because right now a lot of folks dont even have that.

I could probably come up with a few more but I need to get my laundry loaded and try to get some work before its gone for the day.

No, it's NOT stupid to be grateful for Facebook!  It's put me in touch with my bff from elementary school, who's now a grandmother!!  LOL!!  She's actually coming to Maryland in November and we're so excited to see each other!!!  It's amazing!!!

I did the same thing with my jewelry right before I went on vacay in July.  Hey, if you're not wearing it, why not make some money that you can use for something else?

Keeping my fingers crossed on the job front for you!

Tia, That was a wonderful tribute to your baby. She is a special gal and I can tell she loves her Momma. What was the perfume? Was it Happy by any chance? LOL
April, Yea for the scale moving and almost to onederland . Way to go... How nice to be going on a cruise. I have never been and am scared since I get sea sick. I do hope you have fun..
Darla, I am sure you are glad your homework is done and Ranesa will be happy too. Have fun bowling.
My 3 things...

1) Hubby was able to get Friday and Saturday off so he will go camping with us..

2) Acupuncture today..

Morning Julie!!

Actually, the perfume was Happy to Be, a variation of Happy, which is my fave.  I did use that as an idea for her name, but what clinched it was when her foster Mom said she was just a bundle of sweetness and bounce.  And she is!!  It just seemed to fit!!  I've never named a dog before I actually had them, but I did with her. 

I'm glad hubby's getting some time off so he can go - I know how valuable weekend time is at the USPS.
