Is this normal?????
I am all but 3 months post-op and the last few days I have had NO appetite......and I mean NONE. I literally have to force myself to eat. And when I do eat, I feel completely full after like 2 bites, and can not tolerate anything else for hours.
Is this a "phase" I will go thru, or is something wrong with me???????

No Matter How I May Change, I Will Still Be ME!!!!
Yes, it's normal. While we were at the beach, we all pretty much acknowledged that we NEVER feel hunger. Literally - never. That's the beauty of RNY. You have to, however, eat to get your protein in, but I honestly can say that in my 4 years post-op, I've never been hungry.
Just give it some time, it really hasn't been THAT long, and do your best to get in your liquids and proteins. Odds are, you'll feel "normal" again shortly.
If, however, you feel pressure when you eat or drink or feel sick, call your doctor.
Hugs,
Tia
I went through that too but my Doc still wanted to see me each time because it could mean obstruction or hernia too. But more then likely you are going through what I did.......the
blahhhhhhhhs lol I could only nibble here and there and it lasted over a month.
I hope you feel better honey because YOU NEED THE PROTEIN!!!

Heather,
It "could" mean that your nerves have finally grown back together. They are all cut during surgery and it takes a while for everything to heal. In the beginning you don't feel what you will down the road. But, I'll echo what everyone else has said and double check with your surgeon.
