I've been looking at some online prices for the ready to drink protein shakes. They "seem" expensive, unless you consider what you would normally spend on food. But, I was just wondering if anyone knows of some really good deals on good tasting protein shakes. Is it better to buy online or at the store?

Lisa I am struggling with this myself right now.  I have bought RTD at Vitamin Shoppe by the can and not the case. They supposedly haver a peanut butter one but its always out at my store.

Im working on some new protein shakes but they arent ready to drink ones.  I'll let you know if I come up with anything.  Right now I have been living on Unjury chicken soup as the shakes I find hard to get down after surgery.  Before surgery, I was stuck on Pure protein cookies  & cream per Tia's suggestion.  I think in another week or so I'll be able to get those down again.

Oops.. I meant "BUY" not "BY", excuse the typo.

I have some Unjury samples I'm saving for after surgery. I know it's a lot cheaper to buy the tubs and mix it yourself. I'd just like to have some RTD shakes for times when I just need to grab and go.  I've tried Muscle Milk and did not like it at all. I liked AchieveOne, but they stopped putting them in glass bottles and I heard it's not as good now. Carb Control Slim Fast doesn't seem to have much protein compared to others.  I was thinking of trying "Oh Yeah", but those are pretty high in price.

yea well it sure is expensive. and hard to find something that doesn't taste like monkey ass. my suggestion would be to get one of those blenderball containers and put your protein powder in little baggies and bring to work.

blenderball is on amazon. just google it. its like a little whisk in the drinking container. my brain isn't working otherwise i would have a better explanation.

I haven't had surgery yet but I like the EAS carb control RTD protein.  I think they only have 15grams of protein thought.  Anyway, I really like the chocholate ones.  You can get them at Walmart for like 5 or 6 dollars for i think 6 of them.

I do what Nicole suggested. I put a scoop of powder in a baggie and take my BlenderBall to work with me. That thing is great. I bought mine at Whole Foods for $6. Best WLS-related purchase so far.

As far as online vs. in the store, I've found my preferred proteins much cheaper online.

Thanks! I just purchased a Blender Bottle too. :) That sounds like the way to go.
