Has Anyone Tried Herbalife Protein Powder/Supplements?
Just wondering if anyone has used their products to get in their proteins or had any of the shake recipes they recommend?
I wentto buy PB2 today and the place that sells it just so happens to promote shaked through using the herbalife products. They let me try a shake and it was pretty good and they used the PB2 powder. It is has a higher carb content but the taste was a million times better. Having to watch my carbs so closely I don't want to go overboard but then again shortly I hope to only be on 1 shake a day unless Im getting filled.
I used the herbalife pills many moons ago when it first came out in the '90s but the pill did nothing. Now they have this new line of protein drinks, powders and supplements.
Just looking for feedback from anyone who has possibly used or heard about it pre or post op!
Thanks
Nikki

Nikki -
I tried the powder way back in the early 80's. Heinous.
That powder is the reason I cannot stand the thought of ever drinking orange juice again. The powder had to be mixed in the oj, and the smell was just so bad, I had to hold my nose to drink it.
Just the mere word, "Herbalife," is enough to make me foam at the mouth. Blech.

Well I got some single serve packs of the protein shakes and the juices. So we'll see how that goes. They made me a shake with their cookies and cream powder and I could actually drink it!
I'm not interested in using the herbalife plan as I have enough to follow right now. Just merely possibly using their powder since I actually liked the one. I hate the sales pitch and the gimmick of programs like that, but if they have a decent tasting product I am all for it.
I'll let you all know how my single serve packets turn out to be.
Thanks

Hi Nikki, yrs. ago, I sold Herbalife. The powder shakes are deigned to be a whole meal, NOT to be consumed with a meal. With Herbalife, you're to drink shakes breakfast and lunch, then eat a normal meal, at dinner. You also use their vitamins. I would NOT suggest using their products. Have you ever actually tried the Syntrax, Nectar? I've told you about it several times, but didn't know if you tried it. I haven't found a store that sells it, but get it online. The protein is 23 gms. in 1 scoop. I have the chocolate truffle mixed with a small amt. of cold water, to make a syrup and add it to my coffee. I also have the strawberry kiwi which I use with crytal lite, or kefir. Another of their flavors is Fuzzy Navel, which I like alot! If you'd like, I'll mail you a scoop of powder, in a ziplock bag.
