Today was my 2 week post-op appointment. He said everything looked great, all of my incisions are pretty much healed, and I've lost 27 lbs. He gave me the okay to start on my regular diet, thank GOD! LOL Just the thought of one more mushy or pureed thing makes me want to hurl!! Of course, this means I'm able to go back to work, just when I was getting used to this life of leisure! :)

Congrats, Brandi! It is great to have the world of food open up. Justtake it slow as you learn what things agree with you and which ones do not. Even if you encounter something that does not agree with you now, that could change down the road. Enjoy!

Glad to hear you are doing well and the weight loss is great. I am sure you must be happy and I hope that happiness will continue and your weight loss continues. Enjoy having food again...

WOO-HOO, Brandi!!  That is awesome!!!!!

As you start on "REAL" food, you might want to take notes on what works, what doesn't.  If you find something that doesn't work, give it a week or so and try it again!

Keep up the good work!

Hugs,

Tia
