heh heh heh....just trying to justify it by making it WLS friendly!  Can't do that to my wine though!  LOL!

Whoo...I just had my pay day and it's already gone!  I could use another one!  LOL

Here's my three things:

1.  Got a call from my niece this morning and after a rocky few weeks of her fiance waffling back and forth, they've seen their minister and the wedding is in full swing for next month.  I hated to see her going through that, but I think they came through it fine and I didn't have to kill him for hurting my baby.  :-D  I kid....I kid...

2.  I'm thankful that my husband is being so sweet this week.  My birthday is tomorrow, and I didn't even have to remind him.  He's planning a lovely lobster dinner for me tomorrow night and has been so cute working out the details this week.  And lobster....YUM.

3.  I'm thankful for my friends and family, and for the support they provide and the support I'm able to provide them.  I got a facebook note from an old friend from college a couple of months ago when he found out that his wife (who I've also known since college) is suffering from brain cancer.  He has been able to keep his spirits up through the support of friends and family, and is still able to send me little notes of support regarding my WLS process.  Then this morning, I found out that the son of my best friend here in Aberdeen has just been diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma and will be going through surgery and chemo starting next week.  Cancer sucks, but it really brings out the support in a neighborhood.  We're already planning on who will bring casseroles, and who will sit with Karen at the hospital, and who will walk her dogs for her.  I love the way our friends and family rally together.
