I just saw it on CNN.

Poor guy, he fought so hard. Cancer just sucks. I feel sooo bad for his wife - they were truly in love.

Thanks Tia for updating us. This is so sad. I was busy watching the VMA'S since I did not see it yesterday. This is horrible he will be missed and CANCER sucks. It is a terrible thing for anyone to have to deal with and I know he fought a good battle.. My sympathy goes out to his family and friends...

I heard it on the news last night but i couldn't keep my eyes open to hear the broadcast. Patrick Swazye was one of my favorite actors.
I have had to deal with cancer many times ie meaning that my father, and all of his syblings all died of it. It runs rampant on both maternal and fraternal sides of my family. Grandma even had breast cancer.

Oh well, Patrick Swazye fought a good hard fight and my he rest in peace.
